What are the essential 4th of July decorations?

There are a few things you are probably going to see at every 4th of July celebration. So, without further ado, here they are:

  1. American flags. After all, July 4th is America’s Independence Day and since the flag is such an important symbol for the nation, it is only natural that you can see it everywhere on this day. Hanging on front porches and walls, used as a table centerpiece, cloths and napkins with the same stars and stripes pattern, you name it.
  2. Stars and stripes bunting. Bunting is such an interesting piece of decoration. It is made of fabric, which is pleated. In this case the fabric needs to be in red, white and blue. Particularly with a stars and stripes pattern.
  3. Candle holders. Since the biggest part of the 4th of July celebration is the fireworks, you need to be able to see them. And since most of the time people are celebrating outside, it is good to enjoy dim lights, which are not going to interfere with you enjoying the fireworks. That’s where beautiful candle holders scattered all around come in handy.

No matter what decorations you choose, make sure the red, white and blue color pallette is upheld

Instructions:

  1. Cut the bandanas in half following the crease, once unfolded.
  2. Place the bandana under the wreath, folded in half. Make sure the center of the bandana is on the outside of the wreath.
  3. Bring the two ends through through the center loop end over the wreath. Pull tight and make sure the ends are even. Repeat with the other bandanas. Alternate red and white for the striped pattern, then once you run out of red and white add the blue bandanas.
  4. Paint the stars first in white, then add the glitter. Let dry.
  5. Cut the gauge wire into pieces. The length is up to you, you can even make different lengths for each.
  6. Glue the wire to the back of each star. Let dry.
  7. Curl the wire so it looks like the stars are shooting out of the flag.
  8. Add the stars to the blue section of the wreath by wrapping the end of the wire to floral wreath. Hide it underneath the bandanas.

You don’t even have to glue the bandanas, just tie them
