It is not too hot, not too cold and, what’s more, the time spent under the sun is even more valuable after the long winter. So, today, we have gathered a few landscaping ideas, so you can give your yard a makeover  and enjoy the sunny days to come. Unfortunately, many people don’t really take into consideration landscaping, or rather make the mistake of underestimating it, when modelling their homes. Sure, interior design is very important, but landscaping is just as important part of the exterior design. After all, landscaping gives your house a lot of curb appeal and, if done right, can be very inviting to your guests. You give your home a better chance to make a good first impression.

Truth is, landscaping can give your home a very glamorous and modern look, however, you have to think about what is it exactly that you are looking for in your landscape. In 2019 the landscaping trend matches the trend in building minimalistic, futuristic houses, so the trend “less is more” is on the rise and is not going away anytime season. But, before you start planning your landscape there are a few things to consider:

What do you need the space for?

Are you going to spend time in the backyard reading or relaxing? Do your kids need a playground, or do you just want a beautiful view to enjoy from your windows?

How big is your backyard?

If it is too small, don’t overdo it with the landscaping, again, “less is more”

How much are you willing to spend?

What kind of plants do you want?

Seasonal, or ones that are easier to take care of. If you decide to have seasonal plants, you should keep in mind that they will need upkeep and updating very often. What’s more, a lush green rye grass along the pathway with a beautiful palm tree gives your house a modern contemporary look. A few lights along the staircase leading to your front door is not only beautiful, but can also help your guests navigate your entryway when they come over in the evening.

When it comes to backyard landscaping ideas, you have a lot of options. Of course, the first thing to consider is how big you backyard actually is. For bigger yards a pool is always a good idea.   1. A wooden letter (it can be the initial of your family name or you can even spell out your whole name, it’s up to you)
  2. Some seeds (again, you can choose what you want to get – flowers or green lush plants)
  3. Soil
